Terms of Service
These are the ground rules for using this site. They are short. Please read them before you rely on anything here.
Last updated: October 10, 2026.
This site is for information only
Our guides, error-code decoders, and cost breakdowns are general information. They are not professional advice for your specific appliance. Every machine is different. Age, brand, and condition change the right answer.
If a guide tells you a repair is simple, that does not mean it is safe for you to attempt. Some repairs involve gas lines, sealed refrigerant, or high voltage. When in doubt, leave it to a qualified technician.
Prices are estimates, not quotes
Cost ranges on this site are estimates based on typical repairs. Your actual price may be higher or lower. Parts prices move. Labor rates differ by city. A ten-year-old machine can hide surprises that a newer one will not.
The price that counts is the one the technician gives you before work starts. That price is flat-rate and fixed. You approve it first. If you do not approve it, no repair happens and you owe nothing for the repair itself. A website estimate never replaces that on-site quote.
Service depends on technician availability
Booking a visit depends on whether a technician is free in your area at the time you want. We offer same-day service in many cities, but we do not promise it everywhere or every day. Busy seasons fill routes early. Winter breakdowns spike in the Midwest. Summer heat waves spike fridge calls in California.
When you call, we give you the honest picture: the earliest real window we can book. We would rather tell you tomorrow morning than promise today and show up late.
No emergency guarantees
We do not promise emergency response times. If you have a gas leak, flooding, or a sparking appliance, treat it as an emergency first. Call your local emergency services. Then call us once the immediate danger is handled. No appliance is worth risking your safety.
Warranties on repair work
Our city pages state a written warranty on repair work. That warranty is part of these terms. If a repair we performed fails within the warranty period under normal use, we come back and make it right at no labor charge. The exact warranty length for your city is on its local page. Keep your receipt so we can look up the job quickly.
Content may change
We update guides, prices, and city pages as we learn more. Brands change designs. Parts get discontinued. Typical costs drift with the market. We aim for accuracy, but we cannot promise every word stays perfect forever. If you spot something wrong, call us and tell us. We want to fix it.
Use the site fairly
You are welcome to read and share links to our pages. Do not copy our guides or city pages onto another website without permission. Do not use the site in a way that breaks it or harms other visitors. If you run a repair business and want to reference our cost data, call us and ask. We are reasonable people.
Questions about these terms
If any of this is unclear, call us at +1 (888) 206-0056 and ask. We will explain it in plain words.
